The very first Gurukul established by Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar ji, was situated in his home in Jayanagar, Bangalore.  Later it was relocated to the Ashram on Kanakpura Road, in Bangalore.  Besides Veda, Agama shastra section was also included. As the number of students also increased a new campus adjoining the ashram, was developed.   It is referred to as Veda Agama Samskruta Maha Pathashala (VASMP).  It has 19 vedacharyas who train students on 8 different Veda Shakhas, and  around 12 teachers and assistant teachers for Agama section.

 

Bodh Gaya Ashram is located 9 kms from the pilgrimage place associated with Gautam Buddha attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.  The Gurukul was established in the Ashram in 2018.   There are currently 30 students studying in this Gurukul.   There are two Veda shakhas – Shukla Yajurveda Madhyandina and Samved Kouthum are being taught here.   There are two vedacharyas, one for each of the veda shakha.
Located amidst the Himalayan peaks and at a height of one kilometer above mean sea level, the Chamba Gurukul established in the year  2015,  is currently is operating in a rented premises.   There are 20 students who are enrolled and undergoing training in two Veda Shakhas,  namely, Shukla Yajur Madhyandina Shakha and Sama Veda Kouthuma Shakha.   There are two vedacharyas, one for Shukla Yajur Madhyandinna shakha and one for Sama Veda Kouthuma shakha.   This Gurukul is expected to be shifted out of the rented premises to our own premises in due course of time.
Dhubrii Ashram is located on the banks of Brahmaputra river, on an area of 15 acres,  houses a Gurukul.   The Gurukul was established  in 2019. SHukyla Yajurveda Madhuandina shakha is taught here, and 10 students are undergoing training under the tutelage of one Vedacharya.
Located on the Gangetic plains, Farrukhabad Ashram is on the banks of the holy river Ganga.  The Gurukul is located on an area of  4.5 acres.   There are 67 students studying to become pandits in a Krishna Yajurveda Madhyandina shakha and Sanskrit.    There are three Vedacharyas who tutor these students.
Katni Gurukul was established in 2017, in a rented premises, with one Vedacharya, teaching Atharva Veda Shaunaka shakha.  This Gurukul was shifted into Jabalpur, in 2023, to a rented premises close to the banks of Narmada.  A new premises is under construction.  There are currently 21  students with two vedacharyas, undergoing training in Atharva veda Shaunaka shakha and with one Vedacharya teaching Shukla Yajur madhyandina shakha.
This ashram is situated close to the striking Sati Anusuya temples and Ramtek temple where Lord Rama is believed to have rested while in exile.  The Gurukul was established in the year 2017.  There are three vedacharyas and 33 students currently enrolled.  Three veda shakhas  are taught here – namely –Krishna Yajur veda Taittereeya shakha, Shukla Yajurveda  Kanva shakha and Sama veda Ranayani Shakha.  
Sri Sri Omkareshwar Ashram is located between two jyotirlingas, of Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain) on the banks of river Narmada.  There are three vedacharyas who train around 40 students in Shukhla Yajurveda Madhyandina shakha and Sama veda Kauthum shakha.
The Pune ashram is situated on the banks of spread over 40 acres of land, riverside rooms, an amphitheatre, a Veda Pathashala, and a gaushala, where the indigenous breed of cows, Sahiwal, is reared. There are 13 students under one Vedacharya and are learning Shukha Yajurveda Madyandina shakha.
Rishikesh Ashram is situated close to the holy river Ganga, on the western bank. The Gurukul is  located in the smaller of  two premises separated by about 400 hundred meters along the river.  The Gurukul is located smaller of the premises on the southern side, houses the Gurukul.   There are 28 students studying Shukla Yajurveda Madhyandina shakha. There are two vedacharyas in charge of training the students.   The Gurukul was originally started in Tehri in the year 2011, and was shifted to Rishikesh in 2021, during the period of the pandemic.  There are many students who have successfully graduated from this Gurukul.
Located in the Mahanadi delta,  next to the river branch,  in the sprawling campus of the Sri Sri Unversity, the Sri Sri Gurukul, is located in a secure environment, well isolated from the outside world.  There are 47 students who are studying in 4 different Veda shakhas – namely,  Shukla Yajurveda Kanva shakha, Shukla Yajurved Madhyandia shakha,  Sama veda Jouthuma shakha and Atharva veda Paippalada shakha. 
Set on the banks of the tranquil Mahi river, the ashram is 25km away from the city of Vadodara. Spread over 14 acres,  it houses, a Gurukul for 26 students.   There are two vedacharyas who give them training in Shukhla Yajurveda Madhyandina shakha.
